Warehouse Operator

Job Summary:The role is for a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Operative with a valid Forklift Truck License to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient and safe handling of goods within our warehouse, ensuring that all operations are conducted in accordance with company policies and safety regulations.Key Responsibilities:Operate forklift trucks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods.Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks.Maintain records of inwards and outwards transactions.Support goods in inspection processes.Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organized, and safe at all times.Assist with other warehouse duties as required.DIMENSIONSReporting to the Works ManagerWorking closely and maintain a strong relationship with Altek UK supply chainKEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPSInternally Procurement & Logistics personnel.Internally the Production/ Works manager and shop floor managers/ supervisors.Internally HSEInternally QualityInternal and External site service personnel.Externally all supplier/ delivery personnel.Externally all customers direct or indirect.
