Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are offering an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in the manufacturing industry, located in Bloomington, Minnesota, 55431 This role involves critical finance processing services functions and requires strong interpersonal, customer service, and process management skills. Responsibilities Accurately enter supplier and customer master data Validate banking details for suppliers Process weekly payments for different segments and brands, including Check, ACH, Credit Card, and Wires Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all assigned activities, particularly for internal key and non-key controls Manage the Positive Pay file process Process and send 1099 and 1042 tax documentation for assigned segments and brands on an annual basis; handle and resolve any B-Notice issues Develop and maintain accurate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all activities in scope for Data Operations Troubleshoot and resolve issues within scope of responsibility timely, accurately, and in full Perform other duties as assigned Proficient in using accounting software systems, Microsoft Excel, Accounts Payable (AP) functions, Check Processing, Data Entry, Discrepancy, Master Data Management, Approved Invoices, Check Runs, SAP, Epicor.Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel Demonstrated ability to perform Accounting Functions Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) Familiarity with Check Processing Proficient in Data Entry Ability to identify and resolve Discrepancies Experience in Master Data Management Knowledge of processing Approved Invoices Experience in conducting Check Runs Proficiency in SAP Familiarity with Epicor software Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
