We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Specialist Intern to join our IT team. This is an excellent opportunity for a college student to gain hands-on experience in a real-world, professional setting. The intern will work closely with our data management team to support and improve our data processes.

Assist in the development and maintenance of databases, data systems, and data analytics platforms.

Utilize Power BI to create and manage dashboards and reports that visualize key data for decision-making.

Participate in the design and implementation of data models to support business processes.

Collaborate with team members to gather and analyze data from primary or secondary data sources.

Maintain data integrity and security in database management and warehousing.

Help in identifying, analyzing, and interpreting trends or patterns in complex data sets.

Assist with troubleshooting and improving existing data systems and deployments.

Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m and 20 hours maximum per week.TravelNone expected.Required Education and Experience

An undergraduate or graduate degree (or currently enrolled) in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or a related field.

Demonstrable experience with Power BI for creating reports and dashboards.

Understanding of database principles and experience in database management systems.

Familiarity with data modeling, data warehousing, and building ETL flows.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Required Education and Experience

Knowledge of SQL, store procedures, or Python is a plus.

Previous internship or project experience in data analysis or data management.

Experience with Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) solutions such as MuleSoft a plus.
