Parts Price Team is an area where you can be a part of a project that will add value in gross profit margin at The Toro Company within Parts Operations! Gain experience and knowledge in data, competitive analysis and data-driven decisions. Parts pricing team segmentation project with new pricing tool will focus on competitive pricing model for top priority parts by the end of fiscal year 2025. This project will lead to the completion of the following milestones; to select top part classes for segmentation and to pilot new price method on those segmented parts of each pilot part class.What Will You Do?In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for:

Maintain part attributes in audit databases using MS-Access and Excel

Update All Division Parts: length, dimensions, SKUS without part class, maintain audit database

Web scraping for competitive analysis

Assist with creation of price data files for price team

Answer basic PDM Query System questions from price team

Project assignment building competitive pricing model using multiple databases

What Do You Need?To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:

Majoring in Statistics, Economics, or Finance

Senior Year in school

1-2 years of related education or experience in Excel, access, and other databases

Ability to understand and manipulate databases on Access and Excel

Open to share other areas of expertise and databases not listed here

Relationship Building

Creative and open to provide ideas

Innovative / Willingness to Learn

Problem Solving/Calculations/Formulas/Provide other data strategies

Teamwork / Collaboration with pricing analysts and marketing managers
