The Senior Continuous Improvement Engineer is responsible for identifying and implementing improvements to quality processes through use of statistical tools, project management practices, and continuous improvement methodologies.  This role is also key to driving reductions in cost of quality and enhancing quality outcomes to achieve strategic business objectives.This is a dynamic, hands-on role where you'll help lead transformative manufacturing initiatives—from optimizing existing processes to driving successful new product launches. You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment that values innovation, and your fresh perspective and problem-solving mindset will be key to delivering measurable improvements and making a lasting impact.Location: This role is eligible for a hybrid work schedule. The hybrid schedule requires in office presence (Deerfield, IL) Tues-Thurs, with the option to work remotely on Mondays & Fridays. RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead complex, high value projects that deliver measurable and sustainable business results, leveraging a Six Sigma process improvement methodologyServe as a technical leader in the deployment of the Six Sigma process improvement methodology through the application of process improvement tools and training, coaching, and mentoring of associatesDrive ideation, prioritization, and implementation of process improvement opportunities to improve efficiencies and maintain the highest quality products and services, partnering with key stakeholders to scope and ensure alignment with strategic prioritiesAnalyze new and existing data sources in conjunction with a working knowledge of various materials, manufacturing techniques, and engineering practices to identify and drive significant cost improvements at manufacturing plants and distribution centers.Manage projects and lead teams comprised of cross-functional associates (such as Product Managers, Engineering, Sales, Operations) to develop recommendations to improve quality outcomes and business value, and drive implementation of corrective actions.Serve as an operational expert in statistical analysis and provides analytical support to the overall EnterpriseMentors and supports other Quality Engineers as well as develops, documents, and provides training as requiredDemonstrates continual improvement efforts to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly with facility teams and leadership.
