Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced server who is available for 4-5 shifts per week, with weekend availability being a must. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience working as a server in a full-service restaurant and possess strong interpersonal skills, the ability to multi-task, work well as part of a team, and maintain a professional appearance.
Key Responsibilities:
Create a warm, inviting atmosphere for our guests.
Ensure guests feel welcomed upon entrance and are provided with excellent customer service.
Communicate effectively with other team members to address any issues or questions related to customer care.
Multi-task efficiently to manage multiple tables and tasks simultaneously.
Maintain a clean and professional appearance throughout shifts.
Provide accurate information about menu items and make recommendations.
Process orders and payments using a point-of-sale system.
Ensure orders are accurate and meet customer specifications.
Handle customer complaints or issues calmly and effectively.
Stand and walk for extended periods, carry trays, and perform other physically demanding tasks.
Qualifications:
Minimum of two years experience as a server in a full-service restaurant.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to multi-task and work effectively as part of a team.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Weekend availability is required.
Knowledge of food and beverage, including ingredients and preparation methods.
