Payroll Supervisor/Manager

Description We are on the hunt for a diligent Global Payroll Manager to join our team based in Chicago, Illinois. This role primarily involves overseeing the execution of payroll procedures, the use of accounting software systems, and the management of data processing. The selected candidate will also be tasked with auditing, ensuring compliance, and managing payroll for a large team. This is a short-term contract role in the financial services industry.Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the execution of payroll procedures in a timely and accurate manner Utilize accounting software systems such as ADP Workforce Now and Ceridian for efficient payroll management Handle data processing tasks, ensuring all employee information is up-to-date and accurate Perform regular audits to ensure all payroll activities adhere to regulatory standards and company policies Manage payroll for a team of over 1,000 employees, ensuring accurate and timely payment Oversee benefit functions, ensuring all employee benefits are properly calculated and disbursed Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and internal policies Utilize the Ceridian Payroll System for efficient payroll management Handle automated payroll tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency Respond to and resolve any issues or inquiries related to payroll.Requirements Proficient in Accounting Software Systems Experience with ADP Workforce Now Familiarity with Ceridian Skilled in Data Processing Knowledge of 'About Time' software Ability to perform Accounting Functions Experience in Auditing Understanding of Benefit Functions Knowledge of Compliance procedures Experience with Automated Payroll Familiarity with Ceridian Payroll System Capable of managing Payroll for over 500 Employees Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
