Coordinate reviewing and approving the pull requests for the code changes done for any potential technical and functional issues. Attend the Scrum standups (Agile Process) with Development Lead and Development Manager on a daily basis for the tasks to be completed. Work closely with the security team and provide instructions for the testing. Work as a release manager in handling the CRQ’s and all stages of the production delivery process. Work on weekly production releases. Maintain the code repository in version control tools. Develop scripts for API validations. Write front-end UI scripts for the applications created using Java programming. Provide QA support during production deployment. Perform database testing for the application. Position allows for partial remote work. Must live within reasonable commuting distance. Reports to company office in Chicago, IL. Subject to Schwab’s internal approach to workplace flexibility.Work Location: Chicago, ILSalary: $144,560 - $214,700What you haveRequirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Security, or related field and 6 years of progressive, post-Bachelor’s related experience, or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Security, or related field plus 4 years related experience. Experience must include some experience in each of the following skills: Java to create, execute, and maintain functional and regression test suits; Selenium to maintain testing framework, prepare test automation scripts, run and troubleshoot test suites; Postman to perform Restful API testing, create automation scripts, and execute functional and regression testing; SQL to support functional and regression testing and perform data validation by querying the database; and JavaScript to perform client-side functional validation and prepare automation test cases using Cypress.What’s in it for youAt Schwab, we’re committed to empowering our employees’ personal and professional success.
