Description Robert Half is partnering with a globally acclaimed firm renowned as one of the top-tier private client law firms worldwide. They are seeking a Tax Paralegal to join their thriving team in Chicago, Illinois.Responsibilities:
Oversee tax filings and duties of all clients including S Corps, LLCs, LLPs, and sole proprietorship entities.
Provide proficient knowledge and experience in preparing complex tax returns and activities.
Manage tax matters for high volume and high-profile clients, most of whom are in the hundred-million-dollar range (family offices).
Evaluate and analyze various tax scenarios, as well as provide insights and solutions to potentially complex tax issues.
Deliver consistent, accurate, and timely work to meet fast-paced, time-sensitive deadlines.
Stay updated with ever-changing federal and state-level tax laws and regulations.
Ensure that all tax-related tasks are completed correctly and on time.
Requirements
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Paralegal in a tax discipline within a company or law firm setting.
Comprehensive knowledge of all types of business entities, with specific emphasis on S Corps, LLCs, LLPs, and sole proprietorship entities.
Exceptional skills in math and numeracy.
Experience managing high-profile clients and complex portfolio of assets.
Advanced understanding of various state tax laws.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a proven ability to efficiently manage high-volume work.
