Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal to join our team in CHICAGO, Illinois. In this role, you will be working in the corporate law industry, focusing on maintaining key corporate governance principles and regulatory requirements. This role will involve managing operational and administrative processes, coordinating projects, performing research, and reviewing support functions.Responsibilities: Coordinate and manage various projects, ensuring efficient execution and completion. Conduct thorough research and data analysis related to corporate law matters. Utilize Aderant, Adobe Acrobat, and Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS) for various tasks. Maintain and update customer credit records using Case Management Software. Administer claims and manage calendar events effectively. Utilize CompuLaw for billing functions and briefing preparation. Communicate effectively with the Executive Team, the Board of Directors, and related management and Board committees. Adhere to key corporate governance principles and regulatory requirements. Use critical thinking skills to form conclusions, recommend solutions, and effectively communicate findings and recommendations. Review and oversee the work of other staff performing support functions. Requirements Proficiency in Aderant, Adobe Acrobat, Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS), Case Management Software, and CompuLaw Ability to perform Billing Functions and Briefing tasks Competence in Calendar Management and Claim Administration Strong Communication skills Knowledge and experience in Corporate Law Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proven problem-solving skills and initiative Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred Previous experience in a legal environment is advantageous.
