Description Robert Half is partnering with a highly esteemed personal injury law firm specializing in motor vehicle accidents who is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join their team. This position is downtown Chicago requiring a presence in office 5 days a week with hybrid flexibility offered after 6 months of employment.Key Responsibilities:
Effectively managing a caseload of 50-75 cases
Accurately drafting demand letters, pleadings, discovery, and various motions
Regularly communicating with clients, counsel, experts, and courts
Auditing cases for all expenses, including medical bills, case expenses, LOP providers, and subrogation liens
Accurately maintaining case management data in Needles (case management database)
Preparing trial documents and assisting with trial preparation
Requirements
Qualifications:
Proficient in personal injury law, specifically involving motor vehicle collisions
Proficient in preparing discovery responses
Working knowledge of common deadlines and protocols of personal injury litigation
Experience with trucking-related cases is preferred
