Accounts Payable Analyst

Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity in Chicago, Illinois, for an Accounts Payable Specialist to assist with a system conversion to D365. This role is integral to our accounting department and will require proficiency in various accounting software systems and functions. The ideal candidate will be adept at using Microsoft Excel and familiar with the ins and outs of Accounts Payable (AP). Responsibilities: Utilize accounting software systems to perform day-to-day accounting functions Assist with the conversion of the existing system to D365 Take responsibility for Accounts Payable (AP) tasks, including check processing and discrepancy resolution Use Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze financial data Collaborate with other team members to ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes Assist with internal and external audit schedules and provide necessary documentation as required Maintain regular contact with other departments to obtain and convey information and/or to correct transactions Ensure compliance with corporate policies, carrier agreements, and government regulations.
