Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in the manufacturing industry, located in BOISE, Idaho, 83705-5291, United States. The role involves managing all aspects of accounts payable, processing vendor invoices, and reconciling accounts payable aging to the general ledger, among other responsibilities. Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of Accounts Payable Ensure accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices Match receiving/PO’s/invoice and gain appropriate approvals Code invoices with the correct general ledger account number Investigate and resolve discrepancies in accounts payable operations Conduct vendor statement reconciliations Engage with vendors and internal departments as needed Assist in the issuance of monthly financial statements Conduct additional general ledger account reconciliations and journal entries as assigned Manage monthly accruals and assist in month-end closing procedure Maintain appropriate records and files Perform accounts payable functions such as check processing and data entry Resolve any discrepancies in accounts payable operations.Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Ability to perform various accounting functions Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) Experience in check processing Data entry skills Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies Experience in the manufacturing industry Understanding of basic accounting principles Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team High level of attention to detail Ability to maintain confidentiality Strong problem-solving skillsRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
