POSITION SUMMARY
This role is responsible for prepare and cook food, focusing on the specific ingredients and techniques used in shabu shabu cooking.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Preparing ingredients like cutting meat, seafood, and vegetables using various shabu shabu methods.
Setting up and stocking you station with necessary supplies and equipment for shabu shabu cooking.
Ensuring that all ingredients and dishes meet quality standards and are prepared according to established recipes.
Maintaining a clean and sanitary work area and adhering to all food safety regulations.
Collaborating effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Working with front-of-house staff to ensure customer satisfaction and timely service.
Adhering to food safety standard and practices, such as proper handwashing, food storage, and temperature control.
Ensuring that the kitchen is stocked with the necessary ingredients and supplies and notifying the Executive Chef when supplies are running low.
Assist with washing dishes and cleaning up as needed.
May be assigned other tasks as needed by the Executive Chef.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding service and food safety.
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong communication skills and a friendly, positive attitude.
Ability to multi-task, stay organized, and maintain focus in a busy environment.
Must be able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds.
Must have reliable transportation.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant or retail environment.
