Project Engineer - Construction

We are partnering with a leader in the construction space, delivering high-quality projects that exceed client expectations. We’re seeking a Project Engineer to join their dynamic team and support the successful execution of projects from start to finish.

About the Role

As a Project Engineer, you will play a critical role in project planning, coordination, and execution. You’ll work closely with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects stay on schedule, within budget, and meet quality standards.

Responsibilities

Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating construction activities.

Review project drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure compliance.

Collaborate with project managers and site teams to track progress and resolve issues.

Manage RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, and change orders.

Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project performance and adherence to safety standards.

Maintain project documentation, reports, and records.

Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and subcontractors.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

1–3 years of experience in construction project coordination or engineering (internships count!).

Proficiency in 2D CAD software, Microsoft Office, and project management tools (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, or Primavera).

Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

Knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations, and industry best practices.

Ability to work on-site and travel as needed.
