Project Engineer (Construction)

A well-established construction company in Honolulu is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Project Engineer. This is a full-time, salaried role with strong growth potential for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working both in the field and office.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist Project Manager with scheduling, manpower planning, and progress tracking

- Help coordinate project personnel to ensure timelines and budgets are met

- Manage daily administrative tasks: expense reports, budgets, memos, and reports

- Support quality control, safety compliance, and preconstruction efforts

- Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers, assist with commissioning and project closeouts

- Visit active job sites, including rooftops, confined spaces, scaffolding, etc.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field OR 3+ years of construction experience

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

- Strong organizational and communication skills

- Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a team setting

- Comfortable with physical site visits and navigating active construction zones

Additional Information:

- Must be able to communicate effectively with contractors, trades, and internal teams

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all tasks

- Position requires standing, bending, climbing, and walking in varied conditions
