Grants Administrator

Description We are offering a unique opportunity for a Grant Accountant in Atlanta, Georgia. The successful candidate will be responsible for various financial tasks, including managing accounting software systems, overseeing budget processes, and handling expense reporting. This role is located on-site and offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Utilize accounting software systems for accurate financial management Analyze and develop budget processes to ensure financial efficiency Manage and monitor expenditure to stay within the budget Document all financial transactions and maintain organized records Use ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning tools for better business process management Handle Banner Ads and Concur systems as part of the role Report directly to the Deputy CFO and collaborate on financial strategies Keep up with changing financial regulations and trends Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to the budget Ensure all accounting functions are performed accurately and within deadlines. Requirements Minimum of three years experience in a Grant Accountant role or similar Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning Demonstrated understanding of Accounting Functions Experience with Budget Processes Strong Documentation skills Understanding of Expenditure and Expense Reporting Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlinesRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
