We are looking for an IT Operations CISS Lead Systems Administrator.The position of IT Operations Core Infrastructure and Share services (CISS) Lead Systems Administrator will have responsibility for provisioning and managing IT and Business customers services based in physical data centers, cloud infrastructure data centers (IaaS), cloud platform services (PaaS) and cloud software services (SaaS) within BrandSafway’s governance, policy and procedure structure. The IT Operations CISS Lead Systems Administrator will work with the broader IT and business organization to serve as a subject matter expert in their area of responsibility and deliver reliable, secure, effective, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions in data center services and cloud-based platforms.The IT Operations CISS Lead Systems Administrator will have responsibility for working with internal and external teams to manage incidents, enhancements and configuration changes relating to the data centers and cloud services. This role reports to the IT Manager: Global IT Operations CISS serving all three of the distinct geographic regions for the company.Responsibilities

Identity Management – Administer centralized identify management solutions to provide authentication and authorization control for application and data access. Respond to security threats including recovery and mitigation.

Business Application – Provide infrastructure and cloud platform services to support the delivery of business applications to include hardware selection and deployment, active monitoring and problem resolution, feature, and security updates.

Developer Support – Provide access and infrastructure for internal and external development teams to include traditional compute based and modern cloud / DevOps platforms.

Data Security / Accountability – Ensure that data are appropriately secured and available to comply with applicable legislation and business needs including access segregation, data privacy and retention/discovery as defined by policy. Execute data discovery instructions issues by governance, security, and legal teams.

Business Continuity - Partner with business sponsors and governance partners to define, design and implement the IT Core elements of the business continuity plan through resiliency, redundancy, and recovery feature, with regular testing to ensure that the implementation remains viable.

Merger & Acquisition – Action the safe migration of incoming core and cloud services to comply with BrandSafway including consolidation and elimination.

Responsible for mentoring and transferring job specific knowledge to junior members of the Core Infrastructure & Shared Services, Client & Technical Services and Service Desk teams.

Qualifications

Expertise in cloud and data center technologies including, but not limited to, Linux operating system, Microsoft Windows server and client operating systems, Microsoft Active Directory and Entra, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Hyper-V, web services and delivery, certificate management, public DNS management, networking, securing edge and internal communications and functions, high availability, resilient and scalable solutions, high volume data storage and replication, backup and disaster planning, SCOM, business applications, collaboration technologies, desktop and mobile user environments.

Strong Microsoft Azure IaaS / PaaS, DevOps advantageous

Strong process automation – PowerShell, REST, secure authentication

Strong technical acumen with strong problem solving.

Excellent Communications skills: Written, verbal and ability to create and present material to senior management teams.

Ability to break down and document complex processes or configurations.

Ability to manage multiple concurrent streams of demand mixing project and incident.

Ability to communicate technical concepts in business terms.

Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships and promote teamwork within IT Department and across other business groups.

Experience in infrastructure projects including the co-ordination of internal and external teams.

Experience developing processes and implementing policies and procedures.

Experience evaluating hardware, software, and services to support business demand.

Hands on experience supporting large physical and virtual data centers.

Experience providing IT support across wide geographical areas.

Working within a governance / SOX compliant environment is advantageous.

Experience of working within IT Integration (inc. M&A) projects.

Experience in configuring and using system health monitoring and alerting tools.

Experience in automating manual processes with scripting or low/no code tools.

Experience in developing and executing IT disaster recovery plans.

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in IT or related field.

5+ years IT experience related to Core Infrastructure and Shared Services

Continue personal development and education to remain informed of current industry trends and technologies.

Ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural, multinational environment and mobilize cross-functional high-performance team.

Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.

Ability to speak and communicate in English, any other languages considered a plus.
