DescriptionIf you're interested in developing your career with a promising Robert Half Finance company, join a fast-growing team as an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk via Robert Half Finance. To succeed in this role, you will need to match, batch and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. The Accounts Payable Clerk role will be situated in the West Palm Beach, Florida area and is a full-time employment. Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents
Carry out a full-cycle A/P
Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner; ensuring compliance with company policies
Manage department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it on a daily basis
Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling
Carry out additional tasks as assigned
Provide customer service to internal business partners
Assist the AP/Finance Department with administrative tasks
RequirementsStrong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must
Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
Well-founded grasp of Construction Accounting
Sage Timberline Software experience
Accounts Payable (AP) experience
Proven knowledge of Job Cost
Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)
Sage Timberline experience
Experience with Microsoft Excel
Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
