Key Responsibilities:
Review and process submittals and shop drawings, managing of RFI's, and securing responses in a professional and timely manner while assisting the Project Manager and Superintendent with daily field items.
Help oversee and coordinate efforts in the field, ensuring timely and accurate installations
Effectively communicate with the project team
Assisting with processing change orders and managing the project's closeout effort.
Skills & Qualifications:
2+ years of experience as a Project Engineer for a commercial general contractor
Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related to an Engineering field preferred
RFI's, Change Orders, Submittals Experience
Microsoft Project, Scheduling Software, ProCore, Plangrid, Bluebeam experience preferred
Strong work ethic, team player with strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, mathematical, and sound judgment skills
