This position can be based out of one of any of our Florida offices: St. Petersburg, Tampa, Lutz, Punta Gorda, Lakewood Ranch, Gainesville, or Lake Wales. This is a Mid/Professional-Level Project Management position where you will be responsible for the complete workflow and communications of one or more clients/projects assigned by GIS Managers or Administration. The ideal candidate will be able to organize and manage all tasks and deadlines associated with projects and be able to effectively communicate project status, deliverables, and reports with clients and key stakeholders, including the GIS Department Manager and Administration.Key Responsibilities:

Participates in project and client meetings, including marketing, site meetings related to the preparation, kickoff, project status reporting, and/or project closeout of GIS-related projects.

Manage project development from initiation to closure

Act as a liaison between stakeholders and team members

Perform production tasks as needed

Continuously monitor and report project milestones and provide status reports to sponsors

Lead, coach, and motivate project team members on a proactive basis

Clearly communicate expectations to team members and stakeholders and report project progress to all stakeholders

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or higher in Geography, Urban or Regional Planning, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems is preferred

2+ years' experience with ESRI applications (e.g., ArcGIS Desktop or ArcPro)

1+ years' experience with project management and responsibility with more than one GIS or data collection project

Valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Report

Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to think critically.

Ability to travel out of town as needed

Desired Qualifications:

GISP certification or ArcGIS Technical Certification in Desktop, Developer, and/or Enterprise at the associate or professional level

Experience with various GIS formats

Experience with Model Builder, Python, or geoprocessing tools.

Previous work with public entities

Understanding of Arc Server Enterprise and Personal Geodatabases

Experience in public works or utilities industry

Experience with Trimble data collectors, data files, and applications

Experience with web-based GIS

Experience with MS Access, SQL Server, or Oracle
