Commercial Mechanical Contractor is seeking an Estimator for multiple HVAC projects. Central tasks will include preparing accurate Estimates and Scope of Work letters for upcoming HVAC projects as well as research/data analysis for Estimation purposes. We are looking for an Estimator with the ability to work independently as well as directly with the Estimation Manager, on all aspects of Project Estimating. Knowledge and experience with analyzing blueprints, researching Specs, commercial construction Estimating, Customer Service, Vendor Relations, and Customer/Owner/General Contractor Relations are a huge plus. The ability to calculate accurate cost Estimates with minimum guidance is a requirement. Qualified candidates bring with them, a pleasant and professional demeanor toward customers and all levels of team members, with the ability and desire to work in a small office setting.
Responsibilities:
Examine and review all Projects available for Estimation consideration.
Create Estimates/Scopes of Work and review for overall accuracy and completeness.
Work within scheduling parameters in an often fast-paced environment, to plan and calculate several project estimates at differing stages of completion.
Maintain open communication with Estimation Admin concerning important due dates to ensure timely completion of estimates.
Input info/utilize Company Estimation software - Trimble Estimation (training will be available for right candidate)
Analyze project reports, labor requirements and data for each project
Perform all On-Site Visits, Pre Bids and Estimation requirements
Build and Maintain Customer/Owner/GC and Vendor Relationships (Client and Vendor Relations)
