Responsibilities:
Consult and advise customers on their computer and network needs.
Help customers troubleshoot issues with workstations, servers, and peripheral devices
Schedule service tickets and escalate issues as needed
Provide front-end support in a wide array of technical areas from the configuration of workstations to the configuration and management of servers and network infrastructures
Travel in the DC Metropolitan area and after-hours work as needed
Requirements:
Honesty and Integrity in all dealings
At least basic knowledge of TCP/IP networking and DNS
Working knowledge of Windows 10, Windows 7, and Office365/Outlook
Experience working with desktop and laptop hardware
Experience troubleshooting and resolving software, OS, and application errors
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong work ethic and ability to contribute to the growth of a small company
Eager to learn about new hardware and software technologies
1-2 years of professional computer troubleshooting experience is required
Experience in an IT-managed services role is preferred
