Perry's is an exciting, fast-paced restaurant recognized for its culinary excellence and exceptional service. Led by the talented Chef Masako Morishita, who was named a 2024 James Beard Emerging Chef, our team is dedicated to offering a unique dining experience that highlights innovative and creative dishes. We are looking for a passionate and experienced General Manager to help lead our team and ensure continued success.

The Restaurant General Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of daily operations, ensuring the restaurant runs smoothly, efficiently, and profitably. This includes staff management, customer service, inventory control, financial performance, and compliance with health and safety standards. The General Manager will work closely with Chef Morishita to maintain and elevate the standards of our restaurant, fostering an environment that highlights exceptional food and service.

Key Responsibilities:

-Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.

-Hire, train, and manage restaurant staff, including front-of-house and back-of-house teams.

-Ensure exceptional guest service by overseeing staff performance, resolving guest concerns, and maintaining high service standards.

-Collaborate with Chef Masako Morishita to ensure the seamless execution of the menu and culinary vision.

-Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.

-Develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies to increase brand visibility and revenue.

-Handle customer complaints professionally and work to turn them into positive experiences.

-Foster a positive, collaborative environment to promote employee retention and morale.

-Manage bi-weekly payroll.

Qualifications:

-Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager, Assistant Manager, or in a similar leadership role in a fine-dining or high-end restaurant.

-Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house management.

-Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

-Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

-Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

-Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance.

-Passion for exceptional customer service, hospitality, and attention to detail.

-Certification in Food Safety and Alcohol Service a plus
