Job Title: Restaurant Floor Manager

Location: Washington, D.C.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Floor Manager to lead our front-of-house team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. As the Floor Manager, you will oversee shift operations, ensure staff efficiency, and maintain high-quality service standards to enhance guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Staff Supervision and Training:

Lead, train, and motivate front-of-house staff, including servers, baristas, and bartenders, to ensure exceptional service delivery.

Develop and implement training programs to maintain high service standards and promote professional growth.

Customer Service Management:

Ensure guests receive prompt and courteous service, addressing any concerns or complaints promptly to maintain a positive dining experience.

Foster a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat business and positive reviews.

Operational Oversight:

Oversee shift s front-of-house operations, including opening and closing procedures, to ensure smooth functioning.

Monitor reservations and seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and minimize wait times.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is a plus.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant industry.

Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.

Proven problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused mindset.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic financial management.
