This role is designed to foster client relationships that are built on trust

and collaboration, with the ultimate goal of securing competitive employment

for our clients in community job settings alongside workers who may or may not

have disabilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

Include some or all the following. Other duties and responsibilities may be

assigned.Ensure receipt of any referrals and associated documents.Upload documents into database and case note receipt and upload of documents.Schedule Client Intake meetings, invite assigned Employee Specialist for

introductions and upload document in database.Complete Intake meeting and upload documents into database, case note and

schedule client's next appointment with Employment Specialist assigned,

cc: all related parties, Pr. Document in database.Ensure receipt of End of month reports from Employee Specialists, compare

authorization to report information. If correct, upload documents into ELMO.

If incorrect notify Employee Specialist to correct and cc Program Manager.Implementing an interview process on-site for local businesses.Providing one-on-one coaching for job search and retention.Developing a job search curriculum for both beginner and advanced job seekers.Generating job orders and matching participants' skills to job referrals.Maintaining an active job bank to facilitate job placement.Conducting and interpreting employability assessments to determine job

seekers' skill levels, career interests, and goals.Working with job-ready customers referred to appropriate businesses,

assisting them in arranging suitable interviews with established employer

contacts.Developing individualized job development strategies for those supported in

the employment programs through networking, marketing, and job/client

matching.Maintaining job sites, negotiating employment contracts, and working with

employers to meet agency expectations.Contacting prospective employers to determine needs and explain placement

services.Assessing specific needs of employers while matching the skills and

experiences of clients for specific open jobs.Utilizing techniques such as cold calling, job fair attendance,

fieldwork, networking, and web searches to develop employment leads for

participants enrolled in various grant-funded programs.Assisting clients in obtaining individualized information about how

entitlements (e.g., SSI, Medicaid, etc.) will be affected by

employment so clients can make decisions about employment opportunities.Assessing clients' vocational skills and preferences on an ongoing basis

utilizing background information and work experiences.Helping clients learn about different jobs/careers by assisting with

meetings with workers/managers to ask about positions that interest

clients, meetings with academic advisors, observing workers, and

attending job fairs to speak with employers about different types of jobs.Conducting job development and job search activities directed toward positions

that are individualized to the interests and uniqueness of the people on

his/her caseload, following the principles and procedures of IPS supported

employment.Conducting an average of six employer contacts per week. Employer contacts are

designed to learn about the needs of the business, describe supports offered

by the program, and describe client strengths that are relevant to the

positionProviding individualized follow-along supports to assist clients in

maintaining employment.Providing education and support to employers as agreed upon by clients.
