Essential Duties and Responsibilities for the position include:
We are looking to fill an Office Assistant position. We are looking for individuals who share the same pride and enthusiasm for the industry as we do, who are organized, and have the means and ability to complete numerous office tasks. Other requirements include:
Excellent attention to detail
Exceptional mathematical and calculation skills
Verbal and written communication
Ability to work with a team
Knowledge of different types of payroll software
Knowledge of payroll, garnishments, and benefits distribution all payroll rules.
Multitasking abilities
Good research and analysis skills
Other Office Skills. Quick-Books and TSheets.
Note this is a small family office environment.
Must be familiar with time keeping software
Some A/P and A/R. mailing and filing duties as well.
Word, PowerPoint, Excel
Scheduling and keep project records.
Qualifications Office Assistant position include:
At a minimum, they should have a high school diploma or GED. A certification or associate or bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting is a BIG Plus. Advanced Payroll Specialists, who process complicated tax regulations, may need a minimum of a bachelor’s degree. Must have Experience as a Payroll Coordinator, Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Representative or Payroll Clerk. We are looking for an experience person already working in the payroll field presently or recent experience.
Benefits of the Office Assistant position include:
Started Working Wage: an hour DOE
Time and half after 40 hours
Must be able to pass a background check.
This is a “direct-hire” opportunity and not a “contract-to-hire” or “temp” position.
