B&L Roofing Inc is currently seeking a qualified Bookkeeper & Administrative Assistant to join our dedicated team. The right candidate should have experience with financial reporting, data entry, title processing accounts payable and accounts receivable, as well as the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills, Positive mindset, be punctual and have the ability to prioritize multiple projects at once.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2+ years bookkeeping experience
Working knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop
Proficient in Microsoft Office (word, outlook, with an emphasis in excel)
Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset
Strong organizational skills
Ability to multitask and work independently
Willingness to follow established policies and procedures consistently and accurately
Commitment to maintain the highest level of confidentiality while working with internal and client data
Demonstrated ability to provide detailed level bookkeeping support – accounts payable, accounts receivable,
The ability to think analytically and solve problems proactively.
Responsibilities:
First to answer incoming phone calls
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to multitask
Strong attention to detail
Work independently or w/ a team
Scheduling and calling inspections
Pulling permits and renewing contractor licenses in cities & counties
Creating customer & product warranties
Create estimates & send them to builders & cash clients
Post and process incoming vendor bills and customer payments
Verify discrepancies and resolve invoicing or payment issues
Data entry for multiple credit cards and cash receipts
Create and maintain venders and customer information
Uploading digital copies of all receipts
Run reports for commission, month end and management as requested
Reconciliation of bank and cash accounts and various asset and liability accounts
Accounts receivable and payable
Task for Bookkeeper:
Maintains, organizes, and completes the tasks in accounting email
Maintain, organize, and file all hard copies and digital copies
Obtaining business licensing and registrations
Pulling permits, set inspections, and verify approval
Fill out and send customer warranty information
Maintain 1099 subcontractor information
Additional experiences a plus:
BuilderTrend
Prior roofing or construction background
Prior knowledge of work with insurance companies
Compensation $20 - $25 depending on experience
