We are seeking a upbeat, positive, and detail-oriented part-time Receptionist/Legal Assistant to join small legal team located in DTC. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and great client communication skills, and will assist the office manager in providing administrative support and with various legal and office tasks, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities include:
Administrative support.
Screen and prioritize phone calls, emails, and other communications.
Process mail correspondence.
Establish and maintain attorney calendar and deadline reminder systems.
Manage attorney’s calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings.
Prepare engagement letters.
Open and maintain client files in the case management system (Clio).
Schedule and coordinate client meetings.
Filing; Organize and maintain files and records in both physical and digital formats.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Experience in providing administrative support within a legal environment.
Familiarity with Clio is a plus.
Proficient in using Microsoft products.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Willingness to learn new skills, and jump into any task that arises.
