Description Robert Half is urgently seeking an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk. Based out of the Denver, Colorado area, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a short-term contract / temporary to hire opening. The Accounts Payable Clerk will be expected to match and batch code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks.What you get to do every dayAssist the AP/Finance Department with administrative tasks
Carry out daily processes and controls accurately and on time, and ensure compliance with company policies
Manage validating, recording, and mailing checks and expedite special handling
Facilitate internal and external audits as needed
Complete special projects on an as-needed basis
Accomplish full-cycle A/P
Open, sort, and deliver department mail on a daily basis
Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents
Provide support to internal business partners Requirements - AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
Deep understanding of Research Discrepancies
Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP)
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
2+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred
Excellent attention to detail
Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases
