Description Robert Half currently has an opening for an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk. Located in Denver, Colorado, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a long-term contract / temporary position. Further career growth and quick advancement is possible in this dynamic department. The Accounts Payable Clerk responsibilities will include matching and batching code invoices, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, and processing checks.What you get to do every day
Manage department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it on a daily basis
Carry out additional projects as required
Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling
Provide customer service to internal business partners
Provide administrative assistance to the AP/Finance Department
Accurately execute daily processes and controls in a timely manner while ensuring company policies are followed
Manage full-cycle A/P
Sort, log, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents
Provide internal and external audit assistance as required Requirements - Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases
High attention to detail
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds
Numeric data entry experience
Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)
Command of Enertia
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
