Qualifications:
HVAC Residential New Construction: 5 years (Required)
Experience with tinning, ductwork, furnaces, and air conditioners
Experience with boilers and hydronic heat
Have work history on custom home residential and light commercial HVAC projects
Thorough knowledge of HVAC installation and the technical aspects of the trade, combined with a strong knowledge and ability to read and interpret plans and drawings
Excellent organizational skills
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Mech 4 License preferred
The duties of this person include:
In this position, you will be working on various HVAC and hydronic heating systems
Installing HVAC, hydronic heat, and boiler systems in new custom home, light commercial, light multifamily, large remodel, and limited service following Bestway Mechanical standards and processes
Additionally, you will help ensure that quality and customer satisfaction are maintained throughout the construction process
Maintain and manage inventory of onsite materials
Interacts with inspectors
Coordinate and verify all layouts and installation of rough-in, equipment install, and trim
Lifting and carrying heavy objects up and down ladders
Working in all weather and temperature conditions
Applicants must:
- Be proud and enjoy being a HVAC technician
- Enjoy installing in new construction and existing home- new installations
- Must have hand tools and tools of the trade. 'Bigger' tools are provided
- Must be capable of climbing ladders, working in crawlspaces and attics, and lifting over 50lbs
- Be reliable, self-motivated, and have a strong work ethic
- Have a clean driving record and no felonies
- Pass a background check, MVR check, and drug test
