Responsibilities

Understand, comply with, and possess in-depth knowledge of Joint Staff and theater targeting guidance, Battle Damage Assessments (BDA) guidance, and collateral damage guidance. Develops targets and target systems for joint lethal and / or non-lethal engagements. Develops target nominations, creates database records, and databases target intelligence products. Provides recommendations for target prioritization to achieve objectives for plans and operations. Conducts collateral damage estimation (CDE). Produces all-source analytic damage estimates and battle damage assessments and assists with combat assessment requirements in support of theater targeting requirements, operations, and exercises. The successful candidate will:
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently with minimal oversight
  • Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrate proficiency with various geospatial intelligence systems and tools

Qualifications

Required:
  • BS/BA with 5 to 8 years experienceMS/MA with 3 to 5 years experience
  • Possess eight (8) years of analytical experience
  • TS/SCI with ability to gain and maintain CI poly
Desired:
  • Specialized training such as successful completion of in-resident Joint Targeting course or Geospatial Imagery / Targeting Analyst course
  • Experience with defense intelligence analysis, production, and reporting standards
Colorado Salary Minimum: $64,563.20Colorado Salary Maximum:$138,049.60The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Perspecta's total compensation package for employees.
