Description Systems Analyst, Laboratory Information Services (LIS)Location: 100% Remote/Work-From-Home. Eligible out-of-state candidates may be considered.Department: UCHlth Laboratory Info SrvcsFTE: Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)Shift: Days Pay: $34.62 - $51.93 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experienceSummary:Implementation, documentation and support of multiple applications with a focus on the business of Clinical Pathology Laboratories and their outreach business.Responsibilities:

Performs analysis of the daily use and administration of assigned IT systems including Epic Beaker, Haemonetics SafetraceTx and El Dorado.

Assists with the planning, design, development, and installation of assigned systems. Tests and troubleshoots existing and proposed assigned system(s).

Has an understand of clinical laboratory and hospital outreach services.

Has in depth understanding of clinical laboratory business processes including, but not limited to, billing and billing compliance, business processes, and analysis of the business processes.

Generates reports as requested, including writing specifications for custom reports.

Provides training, support and troubleshooting to end users. Documents end-user issues and recommends steps to prevent recurrences.

Requirements:

High School diploma or GED.

2 years of relevant experience.

Preferred:

Prior experience working in a Clinical Lab, Microbiology, or Anatomic Pathology Department

Prior experience troubleshooting EMR/Lab System Integration

Epic Beaker Certification

Experience working with Epic Beaker Clinical Pathology
