We are in search of a seasoned facilities management professional to help oversee our 450 acres on multiple sites. This is a fast-paced organization looking for an energetic, skilled and dedicated employee wanting to join a team. We operate 3 summer camps and a special event and retreat business, plus manage over 20 rental units on 450 acres. Our properties are located in the Santa Cruz Mountains and on Huntington Lake near Yosemite. This position is based at our Santa Cruz location.

SUMMARY OF THE POSITION: Perform a wide variety of facilities management & maintenance duties including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, landscaping, janitorial, septic and water systems trades. Overseeing a 3-person team. Coordinating trade vendors. Acting as one of our company managers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Minimum of ten years experience in one (or more) construction trades

- At least two years of experience working in a supervisory role

- Experience with maintaining a fleet of vehicles (preferred)

- Experience working with commercial pools and private water systems (preferred)

- General knowledge of and experience with maintenance tools and materials

- Ability to safely lift 50+ pounds

- Clean driving record

- Maintain a can-do positive attitude

- Ability to trouble-shoot problems and manage time effectively

- Strong communication and quick problem solving skills

- Willingness to work weekends and evenings as needed by company’s operations

- Non-smoker (we are a smoke-free work environment)
