Position Overview

Are you outgoing and customer-focused? Do you enjoy sales and a supportive team atmosphere? If you answered yes to these questions, working for a State Farm independent contractor agent may be the career for you! State Farm agents market only State Farm insurance and financial service products.

We pride ourselves in guiding our customers with auto coverage, family planning, mortgage/income protection via life insurance, identifying the need for Medicare Supplement plans, and providing an overall thorough review of our services and how we can help. This is a full-time sales position with experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.

Product knowledge, identifying household opportunities, outgoing and prone to pivoting

Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.

Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each and every day.

Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening

In office preferred, remote work negotiable
