We are looking for an Assistant Property Manager to join our close knit team. While Real Estate experience and license are desired, most important are energy, enthusiasm, a passion for customer service, commitment and an interest in joining our team and learning the ropes.
This person in this position supports the Property Managers and property management function, working closely and communicating regularly with Property Managers, owners, tenants, vendors and guests. Must enjoy and be comfortable multi tasking. Must be able to recall details with ease. Must be detailed and thorough in record keeping. Must be friendly and enjoy working in a small close knit office.
Typical hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., however some flexibility could be considered, as well as occasional working remotely.
Duties Include but are not limited to:
- Respond to emails, maintenance requests and other forms of inquiries/communication.
- Manage performance of recurring, preventative and routine maintenance.
- Prepare work orders to approved vendors and follow up for completion of work. Coordinate schedules and activities in occupied and vacant units.
- Prepare leases and other contracts and notices.
- Preparation of annual inspection reports.
- Follow up. Follow up. Follow up.
- Many other duties as needed and assigned.
A minimum of 2 years experience in property management, customer service, hospitality or an administrative support role in a professional environment.
California Real Estate License preferred. If no license, pursuing getting a license required. Growth opportunity exists with this position.
