We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant who is good with book-keeping/accounting (experience with taxes a +) for a 6 month contract position, with the potential for a long term role. The role will be based in-office at Regus Treat Towers, Walnut Creek. Preference will be given to candidates who live nearby and are available for an in-person interview to explore mutual value in this role.
As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide critical support for our work in energy, including solar, biochar, carbon credits, energy technology and other energy & sustainability initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
Manage and organize schedules, meetings, and correspondence.
Assist with documentation, data entry, and reporting.
Provide support for project coordination in renewable energy, solar, and carbon credit initiatives.
Handle general office tasks, including file management and communication with stakeholders.
Research and assist in preparing presentations and reports.
Qualifications:
Experience in administrative roles is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
An interest in renewable energy and sustainability is a plus.
Employment Type:
1099 contractor position.
Open to discussing a W2 arrangement if preferred by the candidate.
