I’m a successful lawyer with my own practice, working primarily from home. Throughout my life, I’ve struggled with ADHD and staying focused on the tasks I need to accomplish. I’m looking for a personal assistant whose primary role will be helping me stay on task and organized. This would involve:
Starting the day with a discussion about the most important things I need to accomplish
Checking in with me regularly throughout the day to make sure I'm actually doing them
Occassional assistance with personal errands or administrative work
Your main responsibility, however, would be keeping my ADHD brain on track and helping me stay focused on what needs to get done. Although the role will involve frequent check-ins, there will be plenty of downtime. So if you’re pursuing a creative project, taking an online course, or simply want to scroll through social media and browse the internet, this could be an ideal situation. As long as you make sure I’m staying productive during working hours, I don't mind how you use the downtime.
Due to the nature of my ADHD, this role has to be in person. I'm flexible with the schedule, but ideally it would be Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm. Looking for someone who is:
Assertive
Proactive
Positive
Highly disciplined
Bachelor's or associates degree (preferred but not required)
I realize this is an unusual position, but I promise I'm normal I just have severe ADHD and too much autonomy for my own good. If you're curious about who I am, you can google my law firm, EDGE.
If interested, please send an email with (1) a few days/times that you're available for a virtual interview and (2) a short note as to why you would be a good fit for this role. Pay is $30/hour and roughly 40 hours per week.
Ps. I won't be responding to any emails that appear to be generated by ChatGPT. While I have nothing against using ChatGPT in some contexts, I value effort and authenticity and want to get a genuine sense of the person I’m communicating with.
