Well established sign company in San Jose is looking for a graphic designer.
The company provides quality custom signage packages - Commercial signs, ADA signs, displays, digital graphics and design to a diverse customer base. We strive for excellent customer service provided by a happy, friendly, cohesive team.
Sign shop experience is preferred for this position. Experience in a print shop, advertising agency or other production environment is also helpful.
Requirements:
Total mastery of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator and Indesign
5+ years of graphic design experience
Expert proficiency in Adobe
YOUR DUTIES AND TASKS:
Designing sign packages based on estimates and architectural plans
Prepare comprehensive designs, layouts, and illustrations for print reproduction according to written or verbal instructions from client
Prioritize each day to efficiently and cost-effectively schedule the workflow
Communicate with customers, as needed, regarding file formats and transfers, digital proofs, and approvals
Proof customers’ artwork to identify potential errors prior to starting job
Inspect artwork for accuracy before sending them to printer or plotter
We will train industry specific elements.
Normal Hours: 9:00am-5:30pm, Monday- Friday! Overtime as needed!
