Whitmore James Black is a legal search & staffing firm. We are presently assisting the smaller San Francisco office of a national firm on their search for a Junior Paralegal to join their team. This role will begin as a temporary role, but has the opportunity to become permanent for the right person. We have placed paralegals and legal assistants with this firm, and have received wonderful feedback on the firm's culture and it's interesting practice area which consists of regulatory work along with litigation work.
The ideal candidate will have 2 years of legal experience, and have a Paralegal Certificate and/or Bachelor's Degree. The Paralegal will assist with:
conducting legal research
researching local court rules
contacting court clerks
proofreading briefs and correspondences
creating tables
coordinating with process servers and runners
organizing exhibits
creating PowerPoint slides for meetings
maintain case calendars
This role will pay $30 to $40hourly, with some flexibility for candidates with more experience. The full time role will likely pay $70K to $80K with full benefits.
