QUALIFICATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Friedemann Goldberg Wargo Hess LLP, a well-established law firm in Santa Rosa has an immediate opening for a mid to senior level Legal Assistant / Paralegal. Candidates should be dependable, punctual, friendly, highly organized, possess a strong work ethic, exhibit a professional demeanor, and project a positive attitude.
The position will assist with a multitude of tasks including, but not limited to:
Working with attorneys, paralegals, and senior assistants in drafting, proofreading, and finalizing legal documents such as wills, trusts, and engagement letters.
Organizing and maintaining electronic client files.
Scheduling and coordinating meetings.
Preparing and distributing correspondence, memoranda, and other legal documents.
E-filing pleadings with the court.
Communicating with potential clients to gather pertinent information.
Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
Performing administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, managing calendars, and handling mail.
We are looking for candidates who have at least 5 years of law office experience. Knowledge of estate planning is required. Intermediate to proficient experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, and other office technologies is ideal.

$25.00 to $40.00 per hour, depending on experience
