Starting salary up to $80.71/hour ($168,451/year) and a competitive total compensation package!

Acting as a senior member of the Sonoma Public Infrastructure management team, the Senior Capital Project Manager provides overall supervision of Capital Projects branch staff responsible for new and ongoing projects, including evaluating performances, managing leaves, and assigning projects. This position ensures capital improvement projects are delivered on time, on budget, and meet customers' satisfaction. The Capital Projects Team is responsible for managing projects at the Main Adult Detention Facility, Sheriff’s Office, District Attorney, Public Defender, and Probation as well as all other County facilities. In addition to providing leadership for the Capital Projects Unit, the Senior Capital Projects Manager is responsible for directly managing the most complex design and construction projects.

You will also bring your proven capital project management experience as well as experience and knowledge in many of the following areas:

Public Contract Code, including references to Uniform Building Code and National Fire Protection Association

Americans with Disabilities Act

Principles of energy efficiency, sustainability, and carbon reduction strategies

Practices in Historic Preservation and Cultural Resources

Government capital building policies and procedures

Computer aided design and drafting

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project
