We are expanding our banging baking program! The Altamont General Store Cafe and Marketplace in Occidental is seeking an additional full time baker and prep cook. This job is ideal for someone who is a quick learner and enjoys wearing a variety of hats. This position includes assisting the head baker in the daily bake off, dough and tortilla prep as well as fermentation, pickling and making and packaging sauces and dressings.
This position is multifaceted and the right team member will enjoy the challenge as we grow and expand this role.
Requirements:
Experience with dough and baking
Basic knife skills
Ability to thrive while multi tasking and shifting gears easily
