Overview:
Che Fico Workplace Catering Operations Associate – Office Catering plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless execution of workplace catering services. This individual will act as a liaison between the kitchen team and the sales team, ensuring that client orders are fulfilled accurately, deliveries are executed efficiently, and high-quality standards are met. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Order Management & Execution
Collaborate with the sales team to review daily and weekly catering orders, ensuring all client needs and specifications are met.
Work closely with the kitchen team to communicate order details, dietary restrictions, and special requests.
Oversee order accuracy, confirming portion sizes, presentation, and labeling before dispatch.
Manage any last-minute order adjustments, coordinating effectively between sales, kitchen, and logistics teams.
Logistics & Delivery Coordination
Plan and optimize delivery routes in collaboration with the logistics team to ensure on-time deliveries.
Coordinate with in-house drivers to ensure seamless execution.
Track and troubleshoot delivery issues, proactively resolving any logistical challenges.
Maintain a system for monitoring on-time delivery performance and recommend improvements as needed.
Communication & Client Support
Serve as a key point of contact for client inquiries related to catering operations, ensuring a high level of responsiveness and service.
Proactively follow up with clients post-delivery to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback.
Work closely with the sales team to communicate any operational limitations or opportunities for improvement.
Quality Control & Compliance
Ensure all catering orders meet company quality standards before leaving the kitchen.
Conduct periodic audits on food presentation, portioning, and packaging.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies.
Monitor and maintain inventory of catering supplies, packaging, and delivery equipment.
Cross-Department Collaboration
Act as a bridge between the kitchen team and the sales team to streamline communication and execution.
Participate in team meetings, offering insights on operational efficiencies and client needs.
Assist in training new staff on catering operational procedures.
