Canepa is looking for an experienced Automotive Parts Manager to join our team!

REQUIREMENTS

5+ years of related automotive parts experience.

Strong Management Experience with the ability to manage up to 7 employees.

Motivated and fast paced personality with a serious work ethic.

Proficient computer skills required: QuickBooks, Windows, Explorer, Outlook, etc.

Excellent organizational skills and phone manners.

The ability to multitask and make good decisions.

DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION

Maintain a balanced inventory consistent with the requirements of the service department.

Establishes individual parts inventory levels and balances them for maximum turnover.

Monitors and adjusts inventory to minimize obsolescence.

Ensure that all returned, or warranty parts are properly tagged so that the organization recovers full credit from the factory.

Assists in the supervision of the stock order procedures.

Ensure technicians are adequately supplied with all parts and materials as needed.

Oversees Purchasing of supplies and materials for Service Department.

Conforms to policy on the special ordering of parts.

Analyzes sales, expenses, and inventory monthly to maintain profit goals.

Works with the Operations and Service Managers to ensure a timely turnaround of parts needed for internal jobs.

Assists in analyzing departmental operations and storage layout and revises as needed for maximum effectiveness.

Provides technical assistance to employees and customers.

Coordinates a prompt, efficient, and timely flow of paperwork.

Directs shipping and receiving efforts to ensure timely processing.

Seek out new vendors, suppliers and manufactures and negotiate terms and pricing for greater profitability.

Enforces and monitors guidelines for working with customers to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.

Ensures that all purchases are properly accounted for before payment is made.

Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations that may affect parts sales.

Maintains professional appearance.

Accepts other responsibilities as requested by the Owner and Management Team.

Compensation: $100,000/year BOE
