Our thriving non-profit is hiring a full time finance administrator / data entry / bookkeeper specialist to start immediately in person in our busy San Rafael, California office.

JOB TITLE: Finance Administrator / A/P and A/R Specialist
REPORTS TO: Finance Manager / CFO
JOB STATUS: Non-exempt Full-time (or 75% minimum)
REQUIREMENTS:
Solid experience with QuickBooks Desktop, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word), and PC hardware is a must
Few years + experience with A/P and A/R in a finance administrator role.
Attentive to detail, highly organized, able to follow instruction, problem solver, self starter, and ease in a busy environment and need to multi-task with ease
Excellent communications skills, written and verbal, and positive attitude required
Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team and growing company
Local applicant able to work in-office in San Rafael, CA during normal business hours (M-F, 9-5pm)
DESCRIPTION:
Primary staff member responsible for data entry of Accounts Payable, Revenue including Accounts Receivable and donations, credit card coding and reconciling. Ideally this will be a long term role if it is a mutual fit - many of our staff love it so much they are "employees for life"!
Creates weekly check runs, pay vendors electronically through wires, Paypal, Zelle, Venmo
Maintain filing systems of above
Directly reports to the Finance Manager, but able to function and prioritize independently
Compensation commensurate with both role and applicant’s experience ranging from $60-$70K for full time; medical / dental / vision / 401k matching benefits available after the new hire review period (60 days).
