This involves developing executive messaging, preparing keynotes, speaker notes, all-hands meetings, executive social engagement, and ghostwriting internal and external communications that are authentic and impactfulDrive Sales and GTM Alignment: The director is responsible for ensuring the entire GTM organization, including sales, marketing, and customer success, is on the same page. This is measured by the clarity and consistency of messaging across all channels and the seamless flow of information from leadership to the fieldLead Change Management Communications: In the fast-paced GTM environment, this leader is expected to effectively communicate organizational changes, new sales methodologies, and evolving market strategies to minimize disruption and foster buy-inOversee Content and Channel Management: A crucial responsibility is the creation and dissemination of compelling and easily digestible content for the sales audience. This includes everything from newsletters and intranet updates to video scripts and sales kick-off materials. Success is benchmarked by content engagement and the effectiveness of the chosen communication channelsYour team develops the best practices and governance for communicating to the Sales organizationYour team owns key tools and platforms used to communicate with the Sales audience, including The Loop (intranet), Slack (collaboration), Workship and Panopto (video)Your team delivers the weekly foundational communication: What’s New newsletter to a global audience of more than 6,000 employees, and the weekly Sales webinar Friday Morning Live,, as well as other programsYou interface with peers around the company to build and execute communications strategies for product launches, key sales events like Sales Kickoff and President’s Club, and change management initiativesYour team is part of the larger Global Communications team and, together, you are involved in virtually all of the company-wide programs and projects, All Hands meetings, organizational announcements and other comms programs
