Summary of Job Details
Under the general direction of the EAOP [Associate and Assistant Directors] oversees and coordinates the effective delivery of EAOP UCSB's Dual Service Model at EAOP partnership high schools for 9th -12th-grade students. These services include transcript evaluations, a-g eligibility, and college prep requirements, academic advisement, an overview of four systems of higher education, financial aid awareness, and assistance with the university, financial aid, and college applications. The primary objectives of the model are to increase CSU/UC eligibility and a-g course completion rates; the number of CC students in the transfer path; and the number of students who complete a financial aid application by the end of their senior year.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
1-3 years Knowledge and understanding of K-14 education
1-3 years Knowledge of higher education institutions (UC, CSU, CC, etc.), admissions and financial aid requirements, and the ability to interpret policies to youth, parents, and school representatives
1-3 years Thorough knowledge of high school graduation and college entrance requirements
1-3 years Ability to maintain cooperative relationships with school district administrators, school counselors, principals, teachers, and community contacts.

Satisfactory conviction history background check
Mandated reporting requirements of Child Abuse
Maintain a valid CA driver’s license, a clean DMV record and enrollment in the DMV Employer Pull-Notice Program

This is a career position with an end date of one year after the date of hire.
Continued employment based on year to year funding continuation.
Frequent travel within Santa Barbara County and Ventura County.
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, evenings and weekend hours as required.
Days/Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:00am-5:00pm
