Description Description:Our client, a respected law firm specializing in real estate and landlord-tenant law, is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney with a focus on unlawful detainer actions. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of hands-on experience in this area of law, demonstrating a strong ability to manage cases from inception through resolution. Handle all aspects of unlawful detainer cases, including drafting and filing complaints, motions, and other legal documents.
Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
Conduct legal research and prepare case strategies tailored to each client's needs.
Provide counsel to clients regarding their rights and obligations under landlord-tenant law.
Manage a high-volume caseload with a focus on achieving favorable outcomes for clients.
Collaborate with other attorneys and staff within the firm to ensure cohesive and comprehensive legal services.
Stay current on changes in relevant laws and regulations affecting unlawful detainer cases.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in the state of California.
Minimum of 2 years of experience handling unlawful detainer cases.
Strong litigation skills with experience in court appearances and trial preparation.
Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team member.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to be on-site at least 3 days per week.
